The Force Support Squadron’s Newsletter proudly introduces Mr. William Gathecha from the Airman and Family Readiness Center as our first Squadron Highlight!
He is the Wing’s Community Readiness Consultant who works hard teaching best practices to military, permanent party and contractor personnel here at Goodfellow. His work touches every airman on this base.
Mr. Gathecha is vital to not just the Force Support Squadron, but to every squadron as the Safety Program Manager making sure supervisors are up to date on their training and buildings are up to code with the latest policies and trends. He also led the Wing Financial Readiness Program, coordinating briefings and educating more than 560 total force personnel.
If you haven’t registered to vote, you should get over to A&FRC to find out the steps you need to know. It was Mr. Gathecha who ensures that all voters are 100% DoD compliant. He also is an accredited financial counselor, educating staff and encouraged nearly 1,500 service members to pursue financial goals.
We are proud our first FSS Highlight goes to Mr. William Gathecha. He embodies the mission of the FSS to Serve, Support and Sustain our fighting force. He is a dedicated professional who serves selflessly everyday supporting active duty, retirees, permanent party and family members through focused customer Service.
Thanks Mr. Gathecha for all you do for Goodfellow Air Force Base!
What a way to kick off the new year! With all of our students back we wanted to give them a big ‘ol Texas welcome.
We had a mechanical bull, some Texas flavor, and had the Brandon Fulton band play!
It was loads of fun and we want to give a very special thank you to our sponsor, Mitchell Toyota.
